President’s Message

It is both a privilege and an honor to be serving as your president this year.  For any professional association to be productive it takes the active participation of not only it’s leadership but it’s members.  I would like to encourage each member to be actively involved in the association at some level.  While we are a very diverse organization in terms of specific fields we all have a common bond as we are preparing students to be equipped to enter their future and be successful and productive.  We are helping to drive the economic engine of our communities, regions and the State of South Carolina.

It is imperative that, this year more than any other, you exercise your right to vote in the upcoming elections.  Get to know the issues that are important to you and find out where each candidate stands on those issues, especially education, and make your choices accordingly.  Encourage your coworkers to vote.  Your program, your job, your future, as well as your student’s future, depends on the decisions that will be made in the next few months.
